How a swap without an account works

1. Choose what you send and what you want. The live quote shows exactly what you receive, every fee included. 2. Give the address that receives the coins and a refund address on the chain you send from. 3. You get a one-off deposit address: send your coins there from any wallet.

The Chainflip network detects your deposit, swaps it at the market and pays the result to your address. If the price has moved more than 3% against you by then, it refunds you instead. Dexnay never controls your funds: the deposit address belongs to the Chainflip network, not to us.

Questions

Why do you need a refund address?

So a swap never executes at a bad price: if the market moves past the price floor, your deposit is returned there automatically.

Can I follow my swap?

Yes. After creating it you get a tracking link showing the deposit, the swap and the payout as they happen.

Do I need an account?

No. You give the address where you want to receive and a refund address on the chain you send from. No email, no password, no sign-up.

What does it cost?

A 1% service fee plus the network and liquidity costs of the route. All of it is already deducted in the amount shown before you send anything.

What if the price moves while my deposit confirms?

Every swap carries a price floor set 3% under the quote. If the market moves past it before your deposit is processed, the swap does not execute and your coins are returned to your refund address.

Who holds my coins during the swap?

Nobody at Dexnay. You send to a one-off Chainflip deposit address; the Chainflip network swaps and delivers to your address. We never have the keys to your funds.
